Has anyone noticed this, for the last two summers, I have had to lean out the pms about a half turn in the summer and then richen it up for the rest of the year..I suppose it has something to do with the density of the air..but what really intrigue's me is that I can actually tell the difference...  |

Sounds like the humidity in your area has been out of balance. I know that this summer here has been different than the last couple we've had. Dry, Dry, Dry. |

Well you might have just hit on it...I have an aftermarket carb, and it doesn't have a heater in it like the stock so your probably right.....

I usually have to turn it out for the fall and spring when the temps are cooler.
During the summer its anywhere between 60 and 90 and I don't need to touch it.

between 60 and 80 seem to be ok, but once it gets into the 90s, things change... |

That's funny you should say that, She does do well in the cold...and that is not a bad thing..the choke is much more sensitive in cold weather, you fire it up on full choke and let it run for a few min. then push it in and let have a few more, but in summer, at 95, I can start her at half choke and close it in about 30 seconds,,if I lean the pms out a bit, then everything gets back to the norm.... |

Maybe I will move north, my wife would love it... I'm not sure I could handle it tho..but if I can fish in an ice hole and do a little snowmobiling I might be very happy, but I probably will miss sailing....  |
