Yep...they pick up the floorboard BEFORE your floorboard digs into the pavement and....... well we dont wanna go there.

I also have a great appreciation for Yamaha's foresight in putting hinges where the floorboards attach to the bike. I've even gotten into the habit of lifting my foot a little, as I go through sharper turns.
