#108696 Flash (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 91 HOT back rotor 3 Months, 1 Week ago   Need your input for peace of mind. I changed tires and put the bike back together and went for about a five mi test ride to made sure everything was functioning good. Bike drove great, tested brades before i left, both wheels free, both brakes worked properly. Brakes worked properly on the drive. When I returned home I checked the rotors, front was cool to the touch, the back rotor was so hot I could not leave my hand on it. I have never checked the temperature on the rear rotor before. Seems odd to me. I checked it again after it was parked, wheel is free spinning. Anyone else have a hot rotor before??? Platinum Boarder Posts: 3024 Re:HOT back rotor 3 Months, 1 Week ago   Try loosing your bracket bolt that hold the whole brake assy to the frame have your wife or some one push the brake peddle and hold it down while you tighten the bolt back down. I had a squeak coming from mine and it turned out that it was cocked just a little.
