how many miles are necessary for ring seating, before I can change to synthetic? I have 3000km (2000 miles) on my 2004 1700 & I want to change oil to be sure that I am running only 4 quarts, & also to run a large shot of seafoam thru my tank before change.(svs) I also have a dumb question, when you say 4 quarts you are referring to US quarts? some oil bottles in Canada have US & imperial & litres on them
