I Simple green everything and rinse. Then blow dry w/the shop vac reversed before it can water spot. Pledge everything after that and Plexus on the windshield. Glitters like it was brand new.
I try and do it after every ride. I keep a microfiber cloth in the saddle bag for a touch up on the road.

The dealer here uses pledge also. I mostly use a wet cloth, and dry with the wifes good towel.  Happy birthday also DKLAZ

i recently made a trip north and got caught in a rain storm...so the next day to clean up the bike I ran to a ace hardware to get something to clean my bike up..well i bought some Pledge and a micro fiber towel.
To make a long story short....never again, I will use my Detailer spray (Nortons or Meguiars) no more greasy Pledge for me!

DON'T USE PAPER TOWELS TO WIPE OFF WIND SCREEN - only use terry cloth - paper towels are a very fine sand paper and will cloud up your wind screen over time... which you can fix by applying a coat of pledge which will fill all the fine scratches with wax.
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser for the white walls...
take the plastic case off of a cheap car air compressor and remove the mechanicals - adapt the cigarette lighter plug to a plug that matches your trickle charger (the part attached to your battery) plugs that match can be purchased at auto zone / advanced auto... now you have an air compressor that fits in the palm of your hand, add a small tube of slime and never be afraid of a flat again.
buy 2 cheap 6 inch speakers 50 watt, buy 1 cheap amp / equalizer 50 watt, mount both to a piece of wood, wrap with fake leather, for the input wire a plug from a set of ear phones, wire the output to the speakers, run a wire from the battery with a plug on the end (see air compressor plug above) 2 straps to hold it behind your wind screen - hook your MP3 player up and instant tunes...
you know the magnet you get from the pizza shop peel the advertisement off and place it over the ugly manufacture sticker on the neck of the bike (big white thing on right hand side) instantly hides
goo gone for removing wind screen stickers.
black permanent sharpie marker to cover the white lettering on your drive belt.
oh... I could go on for hours!!!!

I use S-100 to wash with and like Musky, fifth gear to dry... S-100 is a "no touch" cleaner... But, it does have to be rinsed wel and wiped down...
Every two weeks or so, I use Zmoil wax... (there's an umlaut over the "O"... you know... those two dots they use in Scandinavia?!?)
When I take a trip through the Florida bug-lands (Nearly anywhere you go in FLA...) I hit the winshield with a fresh coat of Meguiar's "Quik Wax®" before I leave and then I use it for bug cleaner when I get there...
Oh, and for traveling, I transfered the wax to one of those little, travel size, hair spray bottles you get at CVS or Wallgreens...
