slezy,

My first set of non-oem pipes were a no-cost Stage 1 mod. I thought the results were very impressive... for the money. Try that first, then shop very slowly and carefully, until you land on what you wants to put your hard-earned money on.

Drill 8 x 1/2" holes through the back baffle, after removing the cone.

Someone here's on their 6th set of pipes?!?! Yikes!

I meant 6th exhaust "setup"

1 Stock
2 Stock w stage 3
3 Cobra slip ons
4 Cobra Classic Slashcuts
5 Megacone 2 into 1 into 2
6 Road Burner Double Eagles with SLT

I'd say I am finished .........but I said that at Stage 3

Yamha "Speedstar" Dragpipes. Figured they were made for the engine, so....Been very satisfied, and when you open the bike up-they hear you coming! I can see semi drivers look in their rear views whenever I pull out, open it up and start to come around them).

Only problem-my wife and other friends who aren't running loud pipes won't ride bhind me cause of the roar...

What kind of exhaust do you have on your Roadstar and how would you compare it to your buddies exhaust? There has to be an exhaust system out there that "Just sounds like it was made for the Roadstar". Any suggestions?
well, thanks to you, I now have LA Choppers CurveDD. So far love them, nice pop, good and loud, but I am pretty sure you know that! Just got to get this carb thing situated..

Jason do you have pics of your exhaust?

By the way I have V&H Longshots with no baffles, they are loud but raspy when you let off.

Cobra Lowboy shotguns. Loud when they need to be, and not so loud when you don't need them to be.
