yep... remember to drag the line on the tank side of the tape ie.. close to the tank...less tape residue left behind

Excellent!! Thanks!

I like the decal idea, too.

I don't know... I just think the Yamaha emblems are overkill. I've got a sticker on my rear fender, the tank emblems, the side emblems, the Yamaha logo on the windshield, stitched into the seat, a tiny emblem on the gas tank, and another on the back of the sissy bar... Cripes. Enough, already!

couple reasons...

some like the clean, open, smooth, no-badges look on the tank..

Some want to put a custom design or decal, or paint.

Some may not want the Yamaha branding...

Honestly, I like the clean look of a tank.

I didn't like the industrial look of the yamaha emblems on the side covers so I took them off. I thought it was cheesy to have the yamaha sticker on the rear fender. I really like the Roadstar logo and will leave it on unless I get some cool paint. The cam and timing cover have yamaha stamped on it so I still have the yamaha name engraved there. (until I get my custom flame covers to match my grips, and BAK )
No I do not wish it were an HD if I did I would buy an HD I just try to make it MY R*

I'll probably leave the tank emblems alone, but the side cover emblems and that hideous rear fender sticker have just GOT to GO!

Well...the Roadstar tank badges aren't bad looking at all, but as someone else said, I like a more personalized "custom" look.

Also, I think the black flaming eight ball graphic (see prior post above) will look very cool on the white and black tank!

Just called th graphics place. May have it on the bike by next week. If so, will let y'all know and send pix...
