#110922 bubbaburl (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 23 Brakes 3 Months, 1 Week ago   hi all, I have a r* 2008 silverado S with 1700 miles. When i hit bad roads there is a noise from the front end, but whn i tap the front brake the noise is gone. My question is do the front pads on the r* always make noise? These girls do shake a bit and things loosen up sometimes. But, then again, don't we all love a loose girl now and then? Junior Boarder Posts: 179 Re:Brakes 3 Months, 1 Week ago   I've got an 08 too... and I've been noticing it sounds like the pads don't really fully retract after braking, at least not right away. One of the things on the list for the dealer to check out this weekend when I go pay a visit. As for rattle I haven't noticed anything like that from the brakes. Good luck!
