I guess I just don't understand but why remove the emblems? Are we that ashamed that we ride a R* whish it was a HD or what? Please explain!

I wanna take the Road* emblems off and put a cross much like this on both sides of the tank:
and then figure out how to put this on the BAK whenever I get one (I'll get one when I figure out how I'm gonna stamp or engrave the emblem....I think I'd look pretty cool!

Yeah, you could pretty much say I'm a fanatic......

I used fishing line and WD40 to remove the sticky stuff. I have done a couple of bikes like this with no problems. Let the WD soak for a minute before you wipe it off it takes several times to get it all off.

Please explain!Nope I sold a HD that cost 4 times what I have in my Road* so that rules that out I guess! I removed the yamaha emblem off my side covers because it looks much cleaner that way. To each there own I guiess. If you know anything about bikes you can look and see the R* isn't a HD.

If I had a Harley, I'd probably remove the emblems from it, too. I'm not real big on name brand stuff... Those who know what they're looking at will know what it is, whether it's a metric cruiser or a hawg.

I went on a ride with several hundred of my closest friends and a friend, really, came over and said it looked like I bought a Harley. I just laughed and told him he knew better. There really are those out there that can't tell the difference, especially non motorcycle riders.
