Hey toosons
Here's a couple that I've been eyeballing myself.
I'll put several miles a day on mine at times, and want a softer ride when I need it. Most air rides will give you a pogo effect. So, I'm more inclined to go with the one in the second link.
Drop Top Caddy here was offering a do-it-yourself kit very reasonable if you can weld. I think he also offered to make a bolt on. His was like the second link.
Clifford also could probably save you a few bucks.

i was looking into getting the one from the second link you posted, i believe it is made by street boutique...i have been exchanging emails with the guy there and hes incredibly patient heheh... i did read however somewhere on the delphi forums that air rides dont work well with our bikes because of the relay arm or something along those lines....i believe looney said it on there so not really sure of the details... but as of now im gonna be ordering a street boutiques air ride within the next 2 weeks and i will definitely write a lil review of it

naw it works great i think,,,i love mine his kit looks nice my weld in kit sits the bike lower,, but he ha alot of rnd in the bolt in brackets,,, only thing im not sure about the bolt in deal it looks as if the lower mount on his kit rides against the tranny i cant think of any other place that part could go,,,so all your bag pressure and weight of bike is riding on that point of contact on the tranny,,,i may be wrong but just what it looks like to me,,thats one reason i welded all my stuff in solid with the frame,,

Hey droptop
How do you think one like yours would work pulling a trailer? I think it would handle the extra weight OK, but do you think it would allow anymore side movement? My trailer weighs 350 lbs before gear.

I've seen the one on the second link before, but I can't figure out what it is suppoosed to bolt to. Has anyone on here installed this style?

Every other air kit looks like the one on the first link. A system that replaces the shock/spring assembly. I figure this leads to a real springy ride.

oh yea would handle any weight you wanted to put on it,,i think its rated at 1500 or 2000 lb bag lol,,,i can put extra air in the bag and it works like a hard tail if ya wanted it too lol,,,the kit he offer bolts to the swing arm and rest on the bottom round bar the other piece bolts right under the seat and the bottom part looks to rest against the tranny thats the only thing i question about his kit,,,may not ever have a problem but who knows,,, thats the only way to make it bolt ont hat i can see thou,,,

When someone here truly sets their bike up with an air ride system I'm with Coach Dan I would like to know how well it works. We both pull trailers and there are times I could use the extra suspension and then other times I want to be able to have a softer ride.
