I am at work and don't have my owners manual with me. Between two jobs I will be working 36 hours straight. Could someone tell me what is involved in it since I can't look it up

I feel the guys frustration....when I bought my bike used, it didnt come with the owners manual---to have someone give me a shutdown answer of check the manual would be bothersome, and I've seen it a lot on the forum; I'm all for teaching someone to fish, and if he's got 36 hours on his hands, he'll need something to read, but some people are asking these types of questions because they don't have the manual. Thanks musky for following up with a link to the manual; I would have been shelling out bucks myself to the dealer had it not shown up

Valve Clearance √ spark plug √ Crankcase Vent system √ Fuel line √ Fuel filter Replace Exhaust system √ idle speed √ Evaporative stuff √ Engine oil √ Air filter √ Front brake √ Rear brake √ clutch √ control cable √ Brake Clutch lever pivot shaft √ Brake pedal √ sidestand pivot √ sidestand switch √ Front Fork √ Steering bearings √ Wheel bearings √ Rear suspension link pivots √ Drive belt √. Looks like a lot of inspections and normal oil changes. the Steering bearings should have been repacked at 16k. Hope this helps.

Ok thanks for the help. I am not going to do it at work. I was just wondering so I will have an idea of what to look forward to. I am working at the fire department right now and have a one hour break before going to work on the family farm tomorrow. Farm work NEVER stops!

I know I am going to get flak but half the sturff or more forget about. I never lubed my cables or adjusted valves. never greased rear axel, did grease front forks, This bike is just about maintance free. Most of the stuff is put in to cover Yamis butt. I now have almost 65,000 on her and going strong. The parts that were out sourced like passing lamps caused me more trouble then the bike itself.

I guess I am just really fortunate. On the weekends at the firehouse it is really laid back. I usually try and ride it, weather permitting, and give a wax job.I am there for 24 hours. Some days are really busy and some days not. I usually park it inside the engine bay to keep it out of the weather. I have spent up to 8 hours waxing it and doing minor adjustments on it. Just really fortunate I suppose.
