Re:Most Comfortable Seat 7 Years, 3 Months ago
Hi I purchased Mustang without backrest. Ive been riding it for about 2 1/2 years now. I like the seat but find that as with most of new seats they are made for people with bigger behinds than mine. I had the scoot forward problem also, but managed to cure that with pullback risers. Then I made my own backrest following tech articles in clinic. Also purchased sheepskin seat cover and that really helped me stay in saddle longer without the normal numbass. My own conclusion on seats is that there is no best seat, as it depends entirely upon your height, weight and preferences. Talking with old friends we agreed that all around, the best seats we have ever rode were the stock seats on the old 750 hondas and 900 kawasakis. They allowed you to move forward or back and to change riding positions without sliding you back to a riding pocket.
