When i run it in the winter (rainy season here in Cali.) it is right at the level of my lips. I'll continue to mess around with the adjustment, but most likely the current setting is about as good as it is going to get. It seems like the wind hits the very top of the helmet and under the right conditions it can be a little jarring on longer rides. Am I correct in assuming that those of you who look over the windshield also experience a little buffeting? If so, I'll call it good and move on. Definitely not a big issue, I just wanted to make sure there wasn't a special way to set the windshield up to correct the problem. It might from under. Lowers might help your problem. I have a good set of lowers (Bucks) and I have pretty well eliminated that as a source of the buffeting. Using my hand I can feel the air flowing over the top of the windshield and just skimming the top of my helmet. I hate to admit this, but I've never ridden my R* without the windshield. I've been tempted to pull it off a couple times, but just haven't done it yet. However, when I look at all the dead critters on the windshield, I know their cousins are out there waiting to be splattered all over my chest and that tempers my desire to remove the windshield.   Logged       The administrator has disabled public write access.
