Gold Boarder Posts: 745 Re:low roadie 3 Years, 9 Months ago   This is interesting to me and I am considering lowering my Roadie; two questions: 1) does it affect two-up riding from a handling standpoint ( i.e. bottoming out)? 2) does it make it harder to get the motorcycle jack under the bike? I have just barely enough room to get the jack uder the frame now, and I would think that lowering would make it impossible. It's screaming to be lowered IMHO. I think it would really look sharp to get the rear fender hugging the tire. I may end up doing this to mine in the near future. The flip is too low for us. 255 pound rider and 160 pound (6foot) passenger. We bumped and bottomed out even with the progressive wound 850/1200 lb spring. Unflipped, the floor boards still drag ALL the time.
