This is interesting to me and I am considering lowering my Roadie; two questions: 1) does it affect two-up riding from a handling standpoint ( i.e. bottoming out)? 2) does it make it harder to get the motorcycle jack under the bike? I have just barely enough room to get the jack uder the frame now, and I would think that lowering would make it impossible. I have the jack that comes from Harbor Freight or Sears and is hydralic pump up two rubber rails etc..

thanks for any imput

LC, I am lowered and I like it..I ride solo so no problems with hitting the limit on suspension, I like the change in handling, it feels more stable and responsive. You will probably drag the floorboards, but their on hinges so.
The jack won't fit unless you first roll the back wheel up on a chunk of 2x6..

A CHUNK is a technical term usually used in space flight terms, defined by Websters as:

Main Entry:
1chunk Listen to the pronunciation of 1chunk
Pronunciation:
\ˈchəŋk\
Function:
noun
Etymology:
perhaps alteration of chuck short piece of wood
Date:
1691

1 : a short thick piece or lump (as of wood or coal) 2 : a large noteworthy quantity or part <bet a sizable chunk of money on the race> 3 : a strong thickset horse usually smaller than a draft horse

Hope this helps....
