Platinum Boarder Posts: 1115 I need more money 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago   I need a good bit of cash so I can go and buy one of these road kings so I can find out what all the fuss is about. I go into the Harley dealers and they won't even walk over and say "HI, can I take your money?" I would love to ride one for a while and see if it really is worth the extra 10 thousand dollars. But hes in Flas and I can't ride it. I'm not saying anything bad about Harley, I would like to ride one and see what the deal is, that's all. Never mind.... I guess I can't ask that. I don't know how folks buy a bike without riding it first, but I don't know everything so maybe this is one those things. Go here and look for a demo event near you. They'll let you ride and you can get this out of your system. Go on a Saturday morning. That's what I did, have to have it back to them on Monday morning. I know around here, the two dealers each have a ride day. No cash required. You should attend one of them and take a few of the new models for a spin (I have). If you want a more long term appreciation, then of those that you like, try and rent one for a few days. I'm finding that the majority of the salesmen don't push their product hard. I think this is the new sales technique where they don't 'sell' you a product ... you 'buy' it from them. I am going to take you up on that and see if I can find a dealer that will let me rent one. I'm serious, I want to know what they ride like. Every one on here seems to have such an option on them and I have never been on one. I would just like to know what all the fuss is about.
