Well I looked at all kinds of bikes for 2 years while I saved money to buy one. A part of me I wanted a HD Road King or a Electra Glide classic. But I was not liking the cost difference and really like the look of the Road Star too, I also rode a few bikes before I settled on the Road Star( it only took 10 miles to make up my mind on the Road*)And really saw little difference except the Star was smoother and a little more refined .

After 4 weeks and 2800 miles I could not be happier with the Star!

Looks like your going that route any way so enjoy and dont look back!

I may have a HD some day but only long after the Roadie is paid for and tricked out as a solo cruiser.

I would also love to build a Bobber with a old HD knucklehead engine as a toy...but I need lots more money and time before that can ever happen.
