Senior Boarder Posts: 322 exhaust leak 3 Months ago   Well bummer, A maitaince problem occured today wile riding and I noticed it at a stop light. When I stoped I heard a difference in my exhaust wile ideling at the light, I pulled over and put my hand under the pipe, I have the HK 3" Big Straights, well anywho, the space between the frame and the heat sheild where there is a weld it aquired a crack in it somehow, someway, it happened, but o'well easy fix take them off, clean up the blackened area, and hook up the welder to them and zip it out, cause the good part is I can get to the area than god, well thats my lil maintaince problem for the time so far at 26200 miles on her, otheres have occured in the past but this is the easyest one by far. It appears to be the baffle on the top pipe. Took it out but its so hard to line up to replace I'm afraid to try expanding the end to tighten it up.
