My 12 1/4" apes came from J&P:

And the 4' risers are no longer available @ PhatPerformance. But these are similar:

Then I had to add the extended braided cables and brake line.

Good Luck.

Ive been messing around powercoating stuff myself to see if i can get good at it.Im getting there. Got me an old stove for the garage to bake in. Belive it or not the cheap powder you can get at harbor freight does a decent job, or im just real easy to please

On the subject of bars, I am also planning on putting on some apes this winter. When looking at bars I see them listed as dimpled or plain - what does this mean? Also - anything special I should look for or need to do if I want to route my wires inside? Do bars come drilled or do I need to drill them?

Re:apes 3 Years, 8 Months ago
dimpled means there is a lil dent where wires can be routed under the controls...i dont think roadies need that since the wires come out of the control rather than under neath like a lot of harleys do....if bars come pre drilled they will often say it otherwise you may have to drill them yourself...internal wiring can be quite the pain sometimes so if you do attempt it take your time and dont get too frustrated

I got a set of dimpled 16 in apes from j&p cycles used the dimple area to drill my holes for internal wires. Like silvasilv said take Your time and unless Your really good with a soldering iron get someone to do that part for You.
