Plus, if you wear glasses, this helmet goes on & off without affecting them. ...and 75 buck, and very light wieght.

My 2nd helmet is an HJC AC-3 3/4. I'll wear it on cooler days around the backroads or every time I plan to get on the freeway.

I wear HJC half helmet and rindin FL. It has 2 vents. Not sure I really notice the effect too much, but I don't find it oppressive in the heat.

I have a 3/4 DOT/Snell approved helmet with face shield that I'll probably don when cold weather arrives, but for now, I'm using a Fulmer half helmet and loving it. It doesn't cover my ears but it's DOT approved.

    Stepping lightly here....

I've got 2 helmets. One for everyday use that's a modular one. Another that I use when I go to PCB, FL and the average speed is like 14mph due to all the bikes.

At speed...the modular one pictured is actually cooler than the other one. It's got engineered vent ports that shove air in where it's needed plus if you crack the clear visor ever so slightly you get another breeze to boot. Maybe the smaller helmet would be cooler if I wore it running at highway speeds, but that's not what I bought it for, so I don't know.

And fellows, that's my entire comment on this topic.

Who makes that helmet that you have pictures the full face one?

The full face one is from an Italian company called Caberg.

They're tough to find here in the USA. I had to order mine from a dist. in the U.K. Even with the crappy exchange rate and outrageous shipping it was cheaper than the new HJC Sy-Max II model that is similar.

If you want to know the specifics of where I got mine send me a PM and I'll send it along.

Ok guys I found this helmet and ordered it.http://www.leatherup.com/p/Outlaw-Helmets/Outlaw-DOT-Flat-Black-Vented-Half-Face-Helmet/49247.html
Well see if it works well in this flipping heat of Arizona. My wife will be happier if I wear a helmet. Although I'm still not a fan of the helmet laws I'm going to give it a try. Cause I don't want to hear her bitch at me. After 32 years I learned to tune some of it out but not all of it!
