master cylinder 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Hey guys...has anyone ever tried using a harley master cylinder with the stock roadie from brakes? I have been thinking about changing over to harley hand controls...I know i have read on here that the warrior master cylinder performs better than the roadie one, just curious if anyone knows how harley's performs
thanks

I recall reading some place that the size of the master cylinder volume has to be in some kind of percentage with the brakes. Once you exit the window of the ratio the brakes start acting weird, such as not working..

Or not working as they should. I am sure some one will chime in on this, but I know you have to be careful swapping master cylinders.

The brake would work OK, but you won't have a stop light unless also using the rear brake. On Harleys the stop light switch is in the switch housing, and the Master cylinder housing and switch housing touch each other. There are different master cylinders for single or dual disc, make sure you get the right one.
