Continental tires 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I have seen a few discussions about different brands of tires, but nobody mentions Continentals... Anybody out there running them? What is the general opinion of them? I have seen them on the HDs, but have yet to spot them on any R*s....

I have one on the rear of my scooter, it seems to be doing ok for me. I needed a new tire real bad. The place I was told that had the best prices was out of the me 880's, so I got a Contimilestone. I think that's what it is, but it's holding up pretty good so far. I've got around 5k on it, and a few burn outs . It seems to do good in the rain as well, not rode it much in the wet, but I have a few times and it seemed to do well. Just my .02 worth.

My bike came with Dunlops since they wore out I have run Continentals, I installed the fourth rear at 36,600 miles. That gives an average of 12,200 miles per tire.

I used them on my last 2 bikes, loved them, but have not tried them on the R* yet.

I have Continental Milestone wide whitewall on my bike, over 10 thousand miles on them, and no complaints. Just my 2 cents worth.
From their website:

The Continental Milestones are suitable if you tend to do a high mileage on your bike as the tyre compound is made to be extremely resistant to avoid high levels of wear for cruisers and heavy touring motorbikes. The grip levels on this tyre are fantastic and will provide you with more than adequate levels of stability for cruising. The Conti Milestones also come with a reasonable price tag considering they offer good levels of grip, stability and handling.
