I have the Mustang wide touring seat, and it does sit you lower a little and forward a little. The fram rails slope down and as you move down you will also move more toward the front of the scoot. It took some getting used to, but my Butt loves it

I have a mustang seat but if I had it to do all over again, I would strongly consider having my stock seat recovered with a little more fluff and perhaps a gel pad. Especially for the cost but also for the comfort. Just my two cents.

I like mine but then I am only 5'6" so moving forward helped with the reach for the bars. I do have to say that the real reason was to eliminate a persistent whine from the back of the bike. Now the whine is gone but I hear a strange humming from the same location. Funny though it only happens when the wife is riding pillion.

I recently purchased the Mustand dual touring seat with driver backrest. Sits a little lower and does push you forward some. Highway pegs and drivers back rest gives you serval options on how to sit and I find the combo much more pleasing than stock stuff. Bob

Hi chris,
you should check your belt tension, it could be a little loose.
It gets looser if the weight on the bike increases. The noise you hear could be the belt rustling on the chrome belt guard
