Washed my bike 2 Months, 2 Weeks ago
I am sure most of you guys wash your bike this way, but just wanted to say how much easier it is to put it on the mc jack. The rims are so much easier to clean when you can turn the wheels.
Also I had been using my air compressor to blow the water off, but today I used my 180 mph lawn blower. Sure got the water off quickly.
I other point if you guys don't use Bike Bright, try it. You spray it on the chrome let it dry good, and spray it off. Cleans the chrome without much effort.
Just my rambling thoughts for the day, now back to football.

I picked up 2 cans of FW1 while I was in Florida and used that when I got home.
It cleaned up 3,500 miles of road dirt and the bike looks better then it ever has. I even used it on the windshield and chrome with no problems.
Thanks for reminding me about the games, I forgot they where on .

What's FW1? I have not heard of it. But yes, jacking up the bike on the MC jack is really the way to go. I can do the WW's and check the air pressure as well.

I actually went and got one of those electric power washers from Lowes for $99 just to wash the bike with, its a fairly low pressure thing but it does a great job getting the crap off the engine fins. Does not seem to take a lot of riding to muck the thing up around here. So far I have used it once and I'm happy, seemed to do a good job on the rims too.

Be careful with the high pressure washer HF, you can force water past bearing seals and cause failure...

Ironman If you have the 03 and below you can buy the amber 1157 bulb if you have the 04 and above then you can buy the 1157 bulb and grind the lower nib off the bulb and use it. (I think it is the lower one it has bee a while so maybe some one will pop in and reinforce that.)
