Fifty.....I get the humor . There was a guy in these parts with a LC 1500 intruder with Hardley Davidson painted on the tank with the badge in the backdrop and everything. My only concern wouldn't really be for you but for your scoot. I could picture someone with no sense of humor keying it or the like. That , unfortunately , is the world we live in. so my qustion to all of you would be, when you see a HD or any other american biker with a no rice burners or no jap cr** on there helmet, bike or otherwise, would take offense and scratch it or beat him up or ???? I just see it as funny and if nothing else they might call me a wanna be....... Fifty Yet I will plead the 5th amendment

Regarding your question about seeing stickers and such that say things like "Jap Crap" or If it' ain't American, it ain't SH**" I don't get offended, I'm happy that these folks have identified themselves to the rest of us as not the sort of people I want to hang around with. I encounter plenty of close minded throw-backs in life without having to ride with 'em. So I take it as they're doing me a favor by letting me know that they only respect those like them (so much for I'm an individual, I'm a biker).

No I see it all the time, I always want to go over and ask them if they knew HD was actually made in Japan for a couple of years.

Are you talking about when they built a factory in Japan back in the 30's to produce bikes to sell in that part of the world? Then Japan kicks them out and starts making an exact copy called the Rikuo.

So just for curiousity I went online to check and see how much of the american made HD is made in the USA and up pops a VTWIN and HD forum and the guys are talking about how much of there stuff is made in other countries. I have heard in the past that in order to put made in the USA on something it has to be the big majority of it, but not 100% could be wrong but that is what I have heard. So in reality we all, bikers alike are riding some american and some foriegn bike of some sort. Wether it be HD or Yamaha or Honda or whomever you choose. Fifty Yet
