i made a simple bracket and mounted kuryakyn iso pegs to where the floor boards would normally mount, costed the price of angle steel and the cost of the pegs so around 100 bux...do you want forwards? or do you just want a footpeg rather than a floorboard? I did the flip grind and with the kury pegs i can lean my bike over realll far and still dont scrape

Does anyone have a close up picture of the forward controls. I was thinking of replacing my floorboards with forwards. I'm fairly short (5'4" and thought they'd be a good set up for me as I've lowered my ride and have trouble with floorboards scraping around corners and roundabouts. Our local council seems to have a fetish with roundabouts at the moment.
Does anyone else agree with my take on the forwards being a good alternative?
Emu says...it's cool to lean into those corners!
I have some, took a little while to get used to them, but I like them a lot now...

Thanks for advice Doc. I won't have too much trouble with mods as I'm a tradie (fitter and turner).
By the way your Road Star Site is good viewing.

Thanks silvasilv for providing another option. The main objective is to stop the scraping around corners. I do like the look of the forward controls though and had them on my previous ride.

Won't work. I can easily scrape my pegs and I'm up almost 2" at the pegs.
Before I raised the front end I used to scrape the peg mount.

Thanks Doc, looks like I'm on a 'flogging to nothing' with this one. But if I have to modify the forward control mounts due to my short legs perhaps I can lift them slightly as well. I'll let you all know how it pans out.
It's good to get comments from people that have been there and done that though. I guess it reduces the chance of surprises.
