The total load weight will be over 400# with everything. I'm 240#... Will the heavier spring do it or should I go with the progressive shock? I ride most of the time solo but I want my honey to enjoy the bike....I think she was scared by bikes in her past life. How will either of them affect my solo ride. Barons has a 930lb. and Eibach has a 1000lb. I bought the 930 but if I do it again I'll buy the 1000lb. Didn't buy the shock, if I remember they were a bit pricey compared to the spring. I have riden a couple times solo now and found a hugh improvement in ride and power transfer.2 up I think it will also be greatly improved over the stock 730lb spring. I am not sure how much improvement you would get between the 930 and the 1000lb springs. I wish I put this on two years ago. My wife said she loved the ride. and if she is happy we all are happy. if you change the spring pay the $40 bucks for the tool. I did that a few weeks ago as I have a lady friend, honestly never had the guts to ask how much she weighs and me at 210 so got to be going around 350. I found that by going all out on the preload that the ride was not bad solo and much improved double. I was scraping pipes and boards on every turn now almost never. I am considering the spring change as it gets rave reviews. You might try the preload first and see what you think. I just keep playing with ride height. I was never happy with adjusting the spring on the bike so I pulled the whole assembly and adjusted it right to the max on the work bench.
