Hello All I'm guessing there must be a special tool to take off the plug on the transmissions ? any help ??

If you mean the transfer case, then no; just a big, flat blade screwdriver.

I used a big flat blade screwdriver with a rag over the end of the screwdriver not to scratch the chrome.

I used a really big flat blade screw driver and had to put a crescent wrench on the driver shaft to give me more torque to get the damn thing off.
It was really on there.

If you have a grinding wheel, take an old chipped up 1 inch wood chisel and shape the end to fit. works great..

I just use a big ol' washer with duck tape on it and twist it off that way.

made a half moon out of some steel stock, but still had to tap on it a couple times to get the seal to break loose than it unscrewed easy... I did not want to mark the chrome either.
