ATTN BOYS WITH FAIRINGS!!!! 1 Month, 2 Weeks ago
Hey you guys with fairings that mount to your factory windshield brackets,
over the weekend I developed a chirp in the front end during a certain RPM and I hate noises , so tonight I got checking all the bolts on the fairing and brackets and I found that one of the two bolts under the headlight that mounts the windshield brackets and the running lights bar had snapped. So I pulled it all apart and replaced them both, now all is good.

I figured I would give you guys a heads up on this.

P.S. The head of it was still there and it looked fine so be sure to put a wrench on them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well you got to figure that the fairing is probably about 15 lbs heavier than a the factory windshield, so its a little over loaded!!!!!

The bolts that were in it were stainless and I put nickle plaited steel with a lock washer back in!!!! Ill see how that works.

If I remember right the shipping weight on the fairing and stereo components was 25lbs, and Im guessing a stock windshield is around 10lbs????????
