Well, as you all know my clutch was slipping. I got the parts today and got it all in , the barnett clutch pp and all new OEM fibers and plates, and boy does it grab!!!!!! I got a wild hair and did a burnout in the shed. The amount of effort it takes to pull in the clutch is not that big of a difference. It all went pretty well other than I have the DOLLIES and I had to pull the one side off to get the housing off. Ill have the real test tomorrow when I ride to work in the morning. I believe all is good though and that I wont have any more problems.

OHHHHHHHH Yea, I didnt put the lucas back in it, Right now Im running the 20/50 Yami oil, all the fibers and plates I took out didnt look burnt, so I think it was a mixture of the oil I had in it and the notorious week OEM diaphragm spring.

That's great Bro now ya can start saving for the 3000. I'm still keeping and eye out for you one. The last one sold for $178 which wasn't too bad. Then ya can blast from light to light. Glad to hear your back on the road.

Hey Doc
Don't feel like the lone ranger, I went in twice myself before I got mine right also I'm stilling running the synthetic oil and clutch is holding up fine. Little harder to pull the handle in though with the new heavier springs. Which leads me to a question! Does anyone make a handle for the clutch that doesn't require you to stretch yout hand so wide??? My wife is going to start riding the R* and her small hands have a hard time with the clutch!

Rode it to work to day and, man, o, man, o, man, does it make a big difference!!!!!!!
It works 10000000000% times better than it did stock.

I tried to make sure I did it right the first time cause I WASNT about to pull the exhaust off AGAIN!!!!!!!!! So far no oil leaks.
