Seriously. The dipstick is a joke. You should never add or take out oil based on what it says. You have to go through a ridiculous procedure to even get to the point where Yami says it's ready to check. And even then you probably won't get the same reading twice. Use 4 qts only. No more. Button it up and ride until the next change. Too much oil might / can be a problem. My theory: Put 4 qts in. As long as the bike isn't running, it *shouldn't* drain out anymore than what's there. Then again the spigot is low enough I suppose it could gravity feed? I'll test this one on my next change which is coming up real soon, but in the meantime can someone else who knows chime in?
