Anyone know anything about the Fi2000 for changing the air mixture on EFI bikes?

I have been reading about it and the Ride Maxx as well as the Thunder Max. Lowering head temps by 100 degrees is impressive. Ever read anything by Minton on V twin engines?

Not that I recall.

I helped a few friends jet their Harley's (carb). They definitely run hotter than Road Stars do. When I was at exhaust vals that would be acceptable and normal for a Road Star, the Harley's had a tendency to melt my sniffer probe lines. So they had to run at richer settings to stay cool. Lowering head temps would be really valuable.

JW, are you tinkering with that new hd already.. I would think the higher comp ratio is the primary reason for the higher temps..

The new HD's do run much hotter than the roadie. Head temps of 400 degrees. It has a lot to do with the emissions standards. The stock set up is very lean. You get great gas mileage but it is a cooker for the passenger. The tuners that are available make your bike run richer at slow speeds and actually lower head temps by 100 degrees. I would imagine the new roadies with the current emission standards are going to be seeing the same thing with the EFI, So to answer your question... I have been messing with it from the day I got it. it’s an illness, Bike runs great, I just can’t leave it alone. I have to tinker. Supposed to get a 10% jump in HP also.
