Just curious.... any of you other 2007 Silverado owners have to purchase your lightbar/passing lamps assembly seperate? or already on the bike when purchased from dealer. I've seen several 2007's at different dealerships and they all came with the lightbar assembly for list price or below. I've seen the 2008 model at more than one dealership and it does not have the lightbar included. Just wondering why they would have included it on the 2007.

Lightbar was standard for the '06 Silverado and discontinued for the '07 as were the passenger floorboards. Maybe the ones you saw were just an "extra" that was dealer installed to help sales or maybe a left over '06.

Mine came with it standard out of the crate as well, I watched it being put together. passenger floorboards, saddle bag, passenger seat, passenger backrest, light bar, windshield, the works just like in my pic. All I added was the crashbar and the footpegs, oh and I bought cruiserbobs studded seats lol. But yes my bike came with the lightbar straight from the crate.

Edit:Oh and I added the yamaha logos on the side covers, they were given to me by a clinic member lol. Not sure why they were not on the bike. previous years had them and I liked the look.

Interesting. I wonder why some did and some didn't? Mabey the early production did and later didn't I know that all the one's my local dealership got didn't have the lights or floorboards. None of the Yamaha promo pictures for that year included these items either. Looks like some got lucky and some didn't.

From what I remember, the Midnight came with the light bar. The Standard did not. At least that was based upon stock pictures from Star's website.

Yeah, something like that. My '04 didn't come with a passing lamps, neither did the midnight. In '05 or '06, the midnight did. I think it's been standard to put passing lamps on since '07 on even the standard silverados.

Mine came the same way as the others, star102cu. Lightbar, passenger boards, etc. That is curious why not all came that way. I'd always wondered why it didn't come with studs like the previous years.

Re:2007 Silverado owners 3 Years, 7 Months ago
So it looks like everyone that purchased an '07 got passing lamps/lightbar and passenger floorboards. I had noticed before that Yamaha did not mention the passing lamps as a standard feature. Just wondered since I have seen a few '08 models without the passing lamps. Didn't know if they had been standard or not in the past. Yeah,it is kind of strange that Yamaha also dropped the studs on the seat and bags for just one year and now they are back.
