Dlm144 I think you said that with a lot of class, I have had my Harley's but all an all nether of them compared to my Road Star. At the beginning of the year I went to the local Harley shop and was looking at the Ultra Classic not only was it a lot of money the sales man suggester highly recomanded that I get the extended warranty because of the 6 speed was new and they are having some problems with bearings so I kinda gave him the look like OK do I look stupid and his remark was will if you don't want it somebody else does I couldn't believe his attitude so I said a few choice words an left. I look at it as I saved a lot of money and maybe some problems

How do you put a link to an old thread on a new one. I was referencing this thread in the "what do you think?" thread.

Look up and to the right a little bit. At the top of this message box. See the post number in the thin green bar? Go to the first post in your thread and right click on that number. Then copy paste it using the URL button in to the other thread.

I recently rode my neighbors lowrider with the 6 speed...it really is a great ride. I love my Road Star, up until the last couple of years, wouldnt have traded it for most HDs. the new HDs, however, are another story...a lot more juice and much better design...and a really nice smooth ride at cruising speeds. They are still an awful lot of money. the R* is still a lot more bike for the $$$$.

Well Java its one of the clubs I ride in, like I said, not all are bad guys, even the ones that don't like my bike aren't bad guys, they just seem to get on their Harley and all of a sudden they are in the Hells Angles or something..
One fellow has a sticker on his front windshield that says Jap Bikes
Even though mine was assembled in the US I do believe. I take shots at them too when ever I can

They do seem to be more

Hotelfox, I like your Avitar. Are you a traveling man too? Ever heard of the Widow's Sons?

The 09 HD RK and Ultra have a totally redesigned chassis and engine mounting system and exhaust under the frame 2 into 1 into 2

HD now is leaps and bounds ahead of earlier glides

but a fairer comparison for the R* ...being a softail would be the Heritage Classic or Fatboy...
