I just sent Clifford an email about the brake lines, so we'll see what he has to say. With my new risers being 2" higher and 3" back from stock, should I order a +4" line?? Someone has mentioned a 6" and a 2"...now I'm not sure what I need?

I used a piece of romex(electrical wire) as a template. just take a piece and run it where the line would be, mark it, straighten it out and measure...

alright, just disconnected my brake line, put the handlebars where I think they should be and ran another wire to where the brake line will go and measured...roughly 25.5" So I guess the +2" would be just enough...

Thanks for the help!

I recomend that when replacing brake lines use component parts. If you look at a Road King, the line is one piece! they have several sections of metal line and hose and the fittings swaged together so that the result is one piece. At least Yamaha made our bikes with two hoses. When changing handlebars we only have to change the upper hose If you use two banjo fittings and a hose, in the future should a fitting break you just replace the fitting; if the hose springs a leak just replace the hose. The fittings can be gotten either black or stainless steel, the hoses can be gotten in black vinyl os stainless braid.
