She wasn't looked after well before me (should I say the man was doing burnouts?), but runs well and my girlfriend who only rides HD wants one just based on riding this ol' beater. Yes, I think they last, but the pro's say so too. Oh yeah, and I know a guy who's selling a 1700 asking $6K with only 7K miles on it, looks new. I grew up a gearhead, pulled my first car, an abandoned Monte Carlo, out of a field when I was 14. So if its an '04, that would be between 32K to 53K per year. WOW!!! I put a respectible 12K on my bike per year, but that's what I call riding.
