You are definitely need clutch, front brake and throttle as for the length you are going to have to do the math.I know I have said some things about http://hellrisercustoms.com/ but he will have what you need

Good luck with your project

Yep you'll need cable's. You can put the new bars up there and take a string the route the cables will run then measure it.Luck.

Yup. Like they stated, gonna need cables. But take your time and run your wires internal and keep the bike clean looking. You really notice wires and stuff on apes. Just a little food for thought.

Damned if I can remember exactly. Think I went 16 over stock. Not sure of the exact measurement right off the top of my head. Let me dig up the paperwork on it. I got papers on everything I have ever done to the bike. But I seem to remember going +1 for ever inch or rise on the bars. Might have even added and inch or 2 to account for the pull you can get when you go full lock. Lemme go see if I can dig that up for ya.

I'm also going to install my new ape hangers pretty soon. Nobody has mentioned anything about a two line or tri-line brake system. When I got 4" risers a couple years ago, the dealer replaced the oem system with two lines and I kind of like them. Any advantages or disadvantages either way? p.s. love them apes!
