#131653 Bean_Machine (User) Junior Boarder Posts: 167 motorcycle safety course okc 3 Years, 7 Months ago   I was just called by Edmond PD and they are putting on a motorcycle safety course on 11-08-08. You will receive a certificate when it is done and last one day. If you are in the Oklahoma City area give me a message and I will give you a phone number to call to register for it. I know Edmond PD and Oklahoma Highway Patrol motor jocks will be training this class. I talked to my insurance company and they said I can get a discount on insurance with this. Heck of a deal. I finished a course here in Calif. and it cost me 250.00. It only cost me $156 but that was because I'm a Vet. Well worth it, also gave me a 10% discount on my insurance. The new riders who only had their "temps" were not required to take the road test at the DMV after completion of the coarse.
