LE I'd never played near the enricher cable either but I still found the the knob was pressed against the bracket, which led me to believe it wasn't shutting off completely. Took about a nickel's worth off the back of the knob and now there's just a tiny gap, like I said before. So it looks like that could be one reason even our '07 scoots run a little rich (along with a potential PMS readjustment).

Re:Pulled my Plugs Finally 3 Years, 7 Months ago
ok heres what i discovered today. I went to advance and got a new set of plugs. I gapped all of them on .034 as musky suggested. Just out of curiousity I checked the old plugs. They were all gapped on 29. Odd. I went back over all of the AIS bolts with blue loctite and retightened em. then i checked the enricher cable as musky suggested. Sure enough it was all the way in. I trimmed the thickness of a nickel off the back of the knob. Pushed it back in, it still went all the way in. Trimmed the thickness of a nickel again and this time it went in with enough space to fit my drivers license behind. So if I understand this correctly I've been riding 4315 miles with the choke on lol. I got everything hooked back up and started the engine. I have never heard my bike idle like this. Sounds better than it ever has. a steady lope. I dont know if its in my head or what but the bike actually feels like it has 1/4 more power than it did. Maybe I'm just crazy. but, coming back home I got the backfire again. It was light outside so I dont know if there was any flame but, it only did it once and i had to really try to get it to still do it. Any thoughts? I know I could still have a pms issue or possibly a float level off but I just wanted to run the progress by everybody and see what you think.

Mine will still pop a little from a high decel from 1st or 2nd, but not very often. I think the PMS needs a little tweak, but since the popping is far less than it was, I'm not going to worry about it. LE, it isn't your imagination. Your scoot should definitely sound better now that you're not drowning it in gas AND you've put new plugs in it. Should be like a new bike for ya.

You're right. I thought I was done for the year a couple of months ago. I was wrong.
