Here in S.Fl, when the hurricane winds start to make starting the engine strictly optional for speeds over 60 I usually call it a day.

Cleveland, OH. Rode home 50 miles at 10 PM last night, it went from downpour to sleet to snow to 'fluffy' hail. Certainly pools of water in the tire parts of the lanes. I was totally waterproof in my Tour master suit, gloves, boots, and Shoei Full Face. Got home and dried the bike with the leaf blower and this am it looks like I washed it! Almost time to install the electric gloves.

I can't wait for it to get too cold to rain. I hate rain the most. MC

Yeah Harley even sells one with their name on it lol I guess for the peeps that have to have the harley name. Personally my bike loves my craftsman. No spotting, no water left behind in crevices. Just wash, blow it off, and wax what ya need to and polish your chrome. Or use Pledge on everything, chrome, paint, windshield.

My Black & Decker leaf blower works fine, too. If a blower says "HD" that also means it costs at least a "Hundred Dollars" right?

The older I get the less I like the cold weather. If the temp is going to stay at or below freezing in the mornings I ain't riding! I'm in Iowa so I imagine I'll be putting her up pretty soon. It's hell to get old but the alternative is way too final

Did the same thing last night when I got home, since the rain started 7 hours before it was supposed to!

I will ride most of the year. I can dress for the cold. I will not ride if there is snow falling, snow or ice on the road. I will take short rides from time to time anymore but when I was working at the fire house I would ride it all year except like I have already said snow or ice.
I good cold winters ride can be refreshing.
