Those bikes on the Johny Pag site are only 300cc. For the same price you can get the Suzuki S40 650cc Boulevard, $125 more for Windshield, another 199 for sissy bar and luggage rack and you've got a nice "Small" cruiser.

How do you like those hand chaps? Do they get in the way at all? What gloves do you wear? How cold have you ridden in with them? Sorry for all the questions and the off topic post.

chief, does she like to ride with you and shows real interest in getting her own? My wife rides with me sometimes (maybe 6 times a year). She says its my thing. I would never buy her a bike unless she showed real interest in it and she hasn't. Just because I want my wife to ride doesn't mean she wants to. If its not in her blood it will sit or be sold shortly after.

I'm sure the answer is yes in your case.

I think a 750 - 900CC is a good size. She won't outgrow it like she will with a 650 or smaller bike.

Isn't that J Pag bike built in China? Do I need to say more?

They are actually made for ATV's, they are easy to slip over the grips and velcrow in place, cost me $18. I never wear gloves when I have them on, you don't need them, your hands stay warm enough. They are a little combersome, because they come way up your sleeve, you have to slide your hand up into them. Also you almost have to keep your fingers over the brake and clutch levers so you know where they are in the sleeve. After using them (only on real cold rides under 30 degrees) a few times, they are good to have and I take them off as soon as I don't need them anymore. I wouldn't ride 2 up with them on, they just are not as "Safe" as without. All in all, worth the $18.
