#136055 fastjohnny (User) Platinum Boarder Posts: 1038 Strange Vibration 3 Years, 6 Months ago   Got on my R* yesterday for a quickie little spin and noticed a very strange vibration. When I would accellerate thru the gears there was an extra vibration coming from what seemed like the rear end. When I would pull in the clutch it would stop. When I coasted it would stop. Only happened upon accelleration. I checked the belt & seems good. Any ideas? Thanks for the advice, Flashback. I'll have to do it when I get back. I'm going to Saudi Arabia to work for 3 weeks. Snow balls will be hitting us in the ass when I get back so I'll have plenty of time to check everything out. Adujusted the tension and took most of it away. There are also rubber torque pads in the rear hub that could give a funky feeling.
