Metzler Vs Avon 3 Years, 6 Months ago
I have been running the 880's and average about 10,000 miles on the rear. Not too shabby. have been thinking about switching to the Venom R for the heavy sidewall.....YEAH YEAH I know the tire thing is beat to death but all I am looking for is maybe someone who has run or is running the Venom R for some feedback

I have the Avon Venoms on front and rear. I replaced the stock rear Bridgestone at 9,400 miles and have about 20,400 miles on the scoot now. The Avon will easily go another 2-3,000 miles. I am very pleased with the smoothness, control and wet traction I get with the Avons. I have never ridden Metzlers so cannot comment, but I will replace my Avon with another Avon.

I have the Avon on the rear, about 12K + on the bike, In the rain is where I see a difference with the Avon, notably better than the Factory Slipstone

I am running Avon's now and LOVE them. Especially in the wet. The grip and wear have been top notch so far.......... I have about 6500 on them.
