Buzz, Decompression???? 3 Years, 6 Months ago
Hello! I posted a week or two ago off a Buzz on the right side of the motor. Today I believe I found it, and I think it was coming from the piece beside the cam cover on the left side. Is this the decompression element, and any thoughts off what and why this may be? Thanks!

There's a solenoid there involved in the starting process... it's not like still getting juice, is it? It might buzz if it were.

That cover comes off easily enough. Poke and push and shake things up and see if anything is loose or moving.

If the solenoid is not working correctly it sounds like a stutter and the motor does not turn over easily.

Hello! The Buzz will go higher and "in tune" I guess that's the best way to describe it, as I rev the engine while parked in neutral. Can't tell if it does it in gears as I'm on the bike then! Any way to fix this??? Thanks!
