It's easy to overlook, it's in bold, go to the bottom, you will see 4 pictures, well, right above the 4 pictures you will see this statement as i copy and paste.

Installation of Plugs or Port Covers Finished
~
Reinstall Tank, Seat, Side Cover, Fuel Pump Assembly & Rectifier

That's the part you missed. Hey! Easy to do when you are all hyped up about how neat your install is going! LOL Anyone could overlook it! What did Gramps say? If it was a snake it could have bit you?

Easy mistake, the directions are still good as they stand but maybe they could make it a little more obvious.

The pictures are misleading though, but they are trying to illustrate the AIS being gone and Rectifier hides that part anyways so they omit it in that one pic.

Hey! What counts is, Your bike sounds better and you lost enough weight in junk to put on a bunch of chrome!

LMAO! I'm sitting with the instructions right in front of me, and nowhere does it say to put it back on.

I think it's obvious that I've been neglecting my daily rum intake. Off to "rectify" that.

Sometimes, you can just make it look like chrome. Actually, just polished to match the rest of the motor...
