Check out cycleimage.com they sell very nice adjustable bogbones or a rigid insert if you perfer. An option of 0" or 2" is a big difference and if you lower it too much the swing arm tilts up at a much different angle and changes its relationship with the frame and doesn't look right; but thats just my opinion. I chose to lower the fender.

I lowered mine with the Barons kit and it is shown that way in my sig pic. I liked the look and it handled OK but even with the progressive spring the way I like to take corners the pipes, floor boards and the frame were always dragging. That I didn't like so I remove the lowering kit and sold it but kept the progressive sring on it. I ride two up and love to lay her over in the corners so stock the way I will stay.

I was thinking good and hard about an air ride, and after weighing all the options, the street boutique customs one was the one i intended to get...others have the tricky or barons air cylinder I am pretty sure tampa is running the air cylinder so he can give you the low down on that...another member droptopcaddy was making his own air ride similar to street boutique, if you can weld he can send you the parts

I got her name stiched on her seat click on the little world on this post and you can check out the pictures. Named her that because of the black and chrome and that is what I busted my butt on when I first started riding in the Air Force when I was in England. At night the fog would freeze and turn into Black Ice. Can't count the times I ended up on my back looking at the sky.

I lowered mine with the Baron lowering kit and then installed the HD spring to the suspension. Rides beaut now..1 up and 2 up.

I would have done the flip and grind rather than the Baron kit, but didn't research enough...would have saved myself some $$$.

If you do the 'flip and grind' you will find that beefing up the suspension or fitting progressive suspension will also be necessary.

Good luck with this mate

Depending on why you are looking to lower, I can get your seat at least 1" lower and still make your ride more comfortable.

you also may want to consider getting a new fender that is longer, or getting those little metal fender extensions, then you can keep stock geometry and have it look a little lower, or better yet lower it and have the lower fenders and you will be closer to your dragging look....just be careful you might actually drag those fenders hah
