I know that Vance & Hines Longshots are different between those sets of years. I was considering them for my '07, but found out that you have to get the Longshots HS for my year. I guess there's a little difference in the clearances/running lines of the pipes (from floorboards or cam cover area or something).

Not necessarily so. Many on here have run the old longshots on the 04' and up bikes. They have also run the Propipe which says only to 03'. From what has been discussed here, all exhaust fitment is the same from 99-07. Don't know why the manufacturers say differently!

Off the subject on Bubs, but still on pipes, has anyone ever seen or heard a set of Big Growl pipes from Jireh? Just curious. I have Samsons on now, but like to have some spares.

I would be interested in a vid of these also if anyone has one. Seen a lot of R*'s so far but none with the Rineharts. They sound great on Road King's so they must sound awesome on the star.

I actually got in contact with Vance and Hines directly and was told from them first-hand that the old-style will definitely NOT fit on the later models. Hmmm... makes me wish I brought this up here on the RSC BEFORE deciding against them. But however, I'm MORE than happy with my Roadhouse Dooleys. So whatever.
