I have a buddy who has a victory nice bike but he really likes my bike. I like the ride and it's paid for fit me like a glove. I agree that some of their paint is over done. I have always like simple and understated. I don't even care for pin striping. To each their own my saddle is here to stay.

Don't forget the Roadliner......Stacks up very favorably against your cruiser list. Love mine. Extremely well balanced to boot. I've got nearly 9,300 miles on mine , still on the OEM tires. My buddy bought his Raider 5 days after me , needed a rear tire at 7,000 (gone) , and that puppy ain't cheap. We ride similar styles , but he's a hundred pounds lighter than me. Just a thought. BB

Price points on new among all these listed is getting narrower all the time. You can throw a $2500 blanket over each catagory and just about cover it. With the exception of maybe the Triumph, at least here in the states. I think all the bikes listed are good ones. Its just a matter of what is important to you my friend.

With all the advances in Technology, you would think they would have GPS installed along with "Blue-tooth wireless" for communications, dump the CB, nobody uses CB anymore, maybe throw in a Satellite Radio with MP3 dock or a small Hard drive for MP3's that you can load with a thumb drive? Maybe even a DVD or Blue Ray drive??

Hey Darn Oldie
I still use CB's. Have them in all my vehicles, except my bike, but will have a J&M 2003 installed by spring. I like to know whats up ahead. I try not to pull over to the side of the road in a heavy rain, so I don't get run over. I've run into a couple storms that I wished I had pulled off at an exit, and holed up for a few minutes, a CB sure would have helped. I think they still have their place, but I still want one of all the other toys you mentioned also.
