What do the "smite" and "applaud" buttons do? You guys aren't smiting me are you?

On the right of the of the post under someone else's name you'll see Karma. You won't see them in your posts.

Under the Karma are the two buttons. They're used to add (if you have been helped) or subtract (if you have been irritate) Karma.

It's not on the reply page.
