Depends on what you like I guess. Most would go for Black with a Black motor and Silver with a silver motor. Me, I wasn't smart enough to look at the color so I got black on my silver motor.

I put the silver ones on my black motor, but truth be told, one is hidden behind the headstay brace, so you can't see it anyway, and the front one is tucked away far enough as well that they could be purple and no one would notice. 2 cents.
